U.S. Tea-Core Bullhide — Black

The same Escape silhouette — unstructured toe, seven eyelets, Dr. Sole Raw Cord underfoot — rendered in U.S. tea-core bullhide. Where the brown roughout version accumulates character visibly on its surface, this one does it through depth: tea-core tanning builds color from within, so the black pulls richer and more complex as it ages rather than simply darker. A boot that reads formal from ten feet and reveals its provenance up close.

U.S. Tea-Core Bullhide — Black, Full-Grain

Bullhide is cut from mature male cattle — a hide with greater fiber density, tighter grain, and more consistent thickness than standard cowhide. The tea-core process saturates the hide with tannins from the inside outward before surface dyeing, building a color foundation that penetrates the full cross-section of the leather rather than sitting as a surface coat. The result on this black: a depth of color that does not fade at flex points, does not crack at the toe box, and develops a burnished, uneven sheen with wear rather than a flat polish. The U.S. sourcing reflects a hide raised and processed under consistent feed and tanning standards — traceability from pasture to last.

Outsole

Dr. Sole #1122 Raw Cord — Full Sole, Black

The #1122 full sole runs heel to toe as a single unit, with the cord tread pattern providing directional grip without aggressive lugging. On this all-black build, the outsole reads as a seamless continuation of the upper — the natural leather midsole at the welt line is the only tonal break, a thin band of tan that anchors the boot visually and signals the quality of what sits above it.

Seven Flat Eyelets — Dark Oxidized Finish

Seven dark eyelets run a clean, uninterrupted lacing column from throat to shaft — tonal against the black bullhide, present but unannounced. No speed hooks, no mixed hardware. The eyelet count is deliberate: sufficient rows to hold the shaft securely against the ankle, minimal enough to lace in one pull. In an all-black boot, hardware that disappears is hardware that works.

✅ 1. Regular Orders — Return & Refund Policy

We gladly accept returns for our regular lineup boots and shoes purchased from www.homkboots.com within 14 days of delivery.

Eligibility for Returns

Returned items must be:

  • Unworn and in original, mint condition
  • Tried indoors only (carpet recommended)
  • Including all accessories, packaging, and inserts

Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Return Shipping Cost

  • Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility
  • An $80 outbound shipping fee (the cost we paid to ship your order) will be deducted from the refund

✅ 2. Pre-Orders & MTO (Made To Order) — Special Order Terms

Products labeled as Pre-Order or Made To Order (MTO) are considered Special Orders.

Production Time

Production typically requires 4–12 weeks, depending on capacity and leather availability.

Non-Cancellable & Non-Returnable

  • Once a Special Order is submitted, it cannot be canceled, altered, or modified
  • Special Order items are non-returnable and non-exchangeable, as they are crafted specifically for you

We strongly encourage customers to place MTO or Pre-Order orders only if you already know your correct HOMK size.

✅ 3. Sample & Discounted Items — No Returns or Refunds

All sample products and special-priced / discounted items are final sale.

They are not eligible for returns, exchanges, or refunds.

✅4. Wrong Size for MTO / Pre-Order — What to Do?

If your Special Order does not fit, we can arrange an exchange, but please note:

  • International shipping & customs fees may exceed the value of the boots 
  • The most cost-effective solution for Special Orders is usually:Sell your pair on eBay and re-order the correct size

This helps you recover most of your cost.

✅ 5. Order Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel a regular order (non-MTO, non-Pre-Order), a 10% cancellation fee will be deducted.

This covers the non-refundable payment processing fees charged by:

  • Credit card processors
