Those boots punch way above their price tag. Perfect stitching, nice and soft leather. The sanding is as even as it can get. Great symmetry considering they are made by hand. On top of that, perfect customer service, fast lead time and shipping. The craftmanship is way better than Grant Stone, Red Wing, Truman Boots and even Viberg. What you cannot see in the pictures: The last is so comfortable it is insane. I am Brannock 7.2 US D/E and went with 7E. Such a good looking and refined last with lots of width in the toe box and perfect grip in the heel/waist and good arch support. I have no words, Quan and his team offer the best price to quality ratio I have ever experienced. Will definitely get another pair soon. If you were waiting for a Clinch Yaeger in your size, take those boots instead. You will not regret it. Also you can customize them to your likes, Quan is a very nice and approachable guy. I am very impressed by the build quality, leather quality and beautiful silhouette used on these boots. The cleanest stitching on any boot in my closet. I will absolutely be purchasing another pair down the road.

I couldn’t be happier with my HOMK Escape Boots in Brown reverse cowhide. In my opinion, they’re one of the best values in heritage bootwear right now.

For a made-to-order build, the turnaround was impressively fast — just over a month from order to delivery. That alone exceeded my expectations. When they arrived, the quality immediately stood out, and even better, they were comfortable right out of the box.

I opted for the wide fit, and it’s genuinely accommodating — something that’s not always the case with other makers who offer “wide” sizing in name only. The fit feels thoughtfully executed rather than simply scaled up, which makes a real difference if you have wider feet.

The Brown reverse cowhide has great character and texture, and the overall construction feels solid and well-considered. The double row stitchdown is especially impressive — tight, dense, and clean — approaching Viberg-level stitch density at roughly a third of the price. That level of detail at this price point is hard to ignore.

I’d absolutely recommend the Escape Boot to anyone looking for strong heritage aesthetics, serious construction, and excellent value. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t hesitate to explore other offerings from HOMK in the future.
