Rocado Shell Cordovan — Last 9023
The 6582 strips the paratrooper silhouette back to its essentials — no cap toe, no seam break at the vamp, just a clean panel of Rocado shell cordovan pulled over Last 9023 and stitched to a 3/4 Goodyear welt. Where the cap-toe variant carries a decorative seam as a reference point, this one gives the cordovan nothing to hide behind. The depth of color, the topographic pull-up, the way the surface moves between matte and mirror depending on light — all of it reads without interruption from throat to welt. Antique brass hardware: a mixed column of 5 flat eyelets, 3 speed hooks, and 1 final eyelet at the crown. Cork footbed. Dr. Sole outsole. Genuine leather toe box and heel counter.
