The Woodcutting Boot draws from heritage work silhouettes — a cap-toe quarter, a Goodyear welt built to be resoled through years of hard use, and custom black tea-core cowhide tanned for depth and durability. This is not a dress boot that happens to look tough. It is a work boot that happens to look refined.

Construction

Goodyear Welt — Traditional Lasted, Fully Resolable

The Goodyear welt mechanically binds the upper, insole, and outsole through a continuous welt strip — a construction method that predates industrial footwear and outlasts most of it. The structural integrity is independent of adhesive, which means this boot can be stripped to its insole and built back up repeatedly. A decade from now, with fresh leather and a new outsole, the boot above the welt is still yours.

Antique Brass — Flat Eyelets & Speed Hooks

Antique brass hardware runs the full lacing column — flat eyelets at the lower rows transitioning to speed hooks at the ankle and above. Against the deep black leather, the oxidized brass reads as a deliberate contrast: warm metal on a cool, dark hide. The hardware will continue to age and darken over time, tracking the life of the boot alongside the leather itself.
